ENGINEER

Graig in studio

I love working with sound. I take pride in everything from selecting the perfect mics to perfecting the final mix. Yet, when it comes to making a record, I believe the engineer's job is to stand clear and let the artist do their thing. It's all about the performance.

I studied music at Columbia University and audio at the Institute of Audio Research. Since learning under veteran engineers and producers at the legendary Skyline Studios, I've spent ten years working with artists big and small in genres ranging from classical to hip-hop.

HOW I WORK

I Will
  • Bring enthusiasm to every session
  • Use every available resource to get the best sound
  • Make sure the artist's vision is top priority
  • Be honest and up front with pricing
I Won't
  • Give less attention to smaller projects
  • Waste time with excessive editing/mixing
  • Insist that my way is always best
  • Overcharge and throw in hidden fees
